We are Barbury Hill, a one-stop online platform connecting customers with small, independent British food and drink producers.

With many of us questioning our buying habits and looking to minimise our carbon footprint, buying from British producers makes sense. But researching and finding those businesses online can be tough, let alone finding the time to visit in-person.

That’s where Barbury Hill comes in. We’ve done the legwork to make it easy. 

We’ve combed the length and breadth of the British Isles to unearth the best producers and have brought them together in one place. Each one has been handpicked, allowing us to confidently feature the best of British.

Founder's Story

Summer of 2020 and Dan had a thirst for English cider. That's where it all began. Dan wanted to buy hand-crafted cider to enjoy at home and buy it directly from the farm where it was produced. He searched and searched online for one particular cider producer he'd previously bought from, yet the website was impossible to locate and ordering online not easy.  Slightly frustrated and still thirsty, he decided it was time to make buying from premium independent producers easy, fast and reliable. Barbury Hill was born.

We're a family-owned independent company on a mission to support independent producers who share our values and desire to bring exceptional food and drink to our customers.  

In 2022, we were proudly shortlisted by the Federation of Small Business for Start-Up Business of the Year Regional Finalist.
