We launched our Barbury Boxes in 2022 and they’ve proven so popular that we’ve created one specially with Easter in mind. The Easter Sweet Treats Hamper is full of homemade bakes and creations from some of our favourite independent producers so we thought we’d take this opportunity to introduce you to the talented bakers and makers behind our latest Barbury Box.
Easter Egg Brownies by Jolly Good Brownies
Decadently squidgy brownies, crispy Mini Eggs, gooey Creme Eggs - is there a treat that more perfectly sums up the indulgence of Easter? The moment we tasted them we knew they deserved a place in the Barbury Box. It's the not-so-secret ingredient - marshmallows - that gives them their distinctive soft and sticky centre and means they’re always going to be a firm favourite at Barbury Hill and with our customers.
These moreish brownies are freshly made to order and have a shelf life of two weeks if kept wrapped and refrigerated or for ten days out of the fridge. They can even be frozen if you want to save them for a later date, though we doubt many will be able to resist eating them the moment they arrive!
Little Choc Chicks by Coco Loco
Cute little chicks, made from silky smooth milk chocolate and creamy white vanilla chocolate - it's the taste that makes these a winner, but the fact that they’re organic, Fairtrade certified, palm oil free and plastic-free also helped secure their place in the Easter Sweet Treats Hamper. We just can’t resist the cuteness of these moulded chocolates, whether as a treat for grandchildren, decorations for an Easter cake, or a well-deserved little treat for yourself.
Caramel Shortbread by Cakehead
This classic bake is perfected by Cakehead to an award-winning standard. Sweet, rich caramel coats a base of buttery shortbread and is hand finished with a smooth layer of Belgian milk chocolate. It fits perfectly in our Easter Sweet Treats Hamper, adding a teatime treat (who are we kidding, it’s an anytime treat!) and yet more of the indulgence we look forward to at this time of year.
